So, I'm kinda impressed with Ford lately and am really liking some of their newer vehicles, more specificly:

Escape:

Fusion:

Taurus SHO:

I'd rock all 3 :o

i can't see myself ever buying a ford, but out of those three, the sho looks pretty good. fusion is alright.. escape

That new SHO is damn sexy, I do wish they were still using the Yamaha motors because those things were badass and produced awesome power.

Escape and Fusion are canned shit IMO

one of our district managers at work just placed an order for a new SHO, cant wait to take it for a spin.

i drive an 08 escape when im not using the civic, i like it. its not a real nice SUV but its a perfect little around town, light winters type vehicle. decent mileage and comfortable ride

we have quite a few fusions in our fleet, base models. they are so so, typical economy car until you step up into the better trim models

If i were to buy a new american car, it would be a ford hands down.

That SHO looks cool, but the low profile tires look fuggin retarded.

The outside may look great, but what about the insides fit and finish? I've sat in a few where I felt I was in a plastic factory. No thought whatsoever of great interiors.

Par for the course, have you sat in the Camaro or the Challenger? Both are far more expensive cars with the cheapest interior at that price point I have ever sat in and driven.

So how does the Escape compare to the CRV, Liberty, 4Runner, Santa Fe, Rav 4, and Xterra? Sarah will be purchasing a new car within the next 3 months and wants a smaller SUV. We checked out the Libery but absolutely hate how high the seats are in there, especially with how low all the controls are placed, and with the windshield not being very large. She liked the CX7 but its more than what she's looking for and is also alot pricier.

escape. meh it's okay i guess i didn't like it that much when i drove it
fusion. i like it... well i like the redesigned one specifically the hybrid one.
taurus. good aggressive european design... not sure about the interior since i've not seen it in person. also price is too high IMO

u couldve at least used the real photos... especially since theyre out right now. thats the old escape and fusion.

i do like the way the new taurus sho and the fusion are designed outside...but i still dont like the interior.

and the escape??? really?? if ur gonna pick a compact suv, the RAV4 and CRV are wayyyyyyyyy better. the 4Runner and Xterra arent even in the same class as the compact suv's. the 4runner, Xterra, FJ Cruiser, Pathfinder, Explorer are way more capable mid-size suv's.

My wife and I were really impressed by the build quality of the Focus SES (whatever that means) that we had as a rental when the RSX-s was in the shop. The car was quiet and comfortable. If the workmanship on this bare bones rental unit is any indication of the work in these others then Ford has some very good products. The only issues I had with the Focus was its lack of power and lack of Cruise Control. I managed to get an average of 36.5 mpg on our trip to Charleston SC and back over a total of a little over 2400 miles driven.

IMO, the only real "stolen" design cue are the two creases running down the body behind the front wheel arch. The rest of the similarities could be claimed by half the sedans on the market right now.
