used insights and questions
what prices are they going for now?
also how much better is the manual over the auto for mpg?
also how much storage is there and how is overall maintenance on it?
my dad is sort of looking for a older commuter car, but if the price is right im sure i could convince him into a insight...i would get one for myself if i had money
also any links would be helpful

You can pick one up for about $12,000, maybe even less, check Ebay... serioiusly. If you want one I suggest getting one quick before we bomb IRAQ, my theory is oil is going to get expensive and the Insight's demand is going to go up.
5 Speed EPA MPG is 61 city and 70 highway
CVT's EPA MPG is 57 city and 56 highway (no I didn't mix those up)
The main reason for the auto's huge mileage hit is the fact that the 5 speed has lean burn and the automatic does not. Also naturally the preformance is better with the 5 speed.
Matienence is pretty low. Standard Honda stuff. Aside from fluid and filter changes every so often the first scheduled maintenance isn't until 105,000 miles.
Pretty nice warranty too.
3 year 36K mile bumper to bumper
5 year 50K on the engine
8 year 80K on the hybrid battery and electronics
Just get your dad to go drive one. He'll want one.
