I'm planning on getting a pager alarm on ebay, but there are so many to choose from? any suggestion on which one? most of them have the same feature, but the 2 important features for me is:
remote starter,
long range.

you forgot the most important thing about an alarm: security. i think there is only one alarm company that i would ever reccomend: clifford. theyre simply the best protection. just dont get the "matrix" series, which are viper brains with clifford remotes. get the g4 series.

I've got the crimestopper cs-2005fm, its the samething as the cs-2006fm (newer model) and its a great system. I've had it now for about a year and I havent had any problems. Has remote start, Unlock/Lock and you can use the 3rd button to pop your trunk or roll your windows down which ever you decide to hook up.

Like I have said before. Get the Compustar. I have had the crimestopper and the compustar is by far the best PAGER ALARM out there. If you can go for the Spread Spectrum. I am getting it installed for 450. Also, if you buy on ebay are you installing your self?
