99TL - Interesting Problem??
I have a 99 TL Nav with 47k.
About 5-6 times over the last month, (and during the warm weather), the car has stalled when travelling 10-20 mph - not during accelleration or braking - but with the AC on, but not on full blast.
What I have noticed is that the Tach will drop immediately to 0. When I try to restart the car, the engine will crank normally for about two seconds and then stall (with the Tach again dropping to zero).
It has taken up to 4-5 times to get the car started, and have always been able to do so successfully. For now.
Any ideas as to what this could be? I hesitate just going to the dealer and have him tell me that I need to do a 36000 mile checkup for $500.

Most of us here can only guess what your problem is, but you really should take it back to your dealer and let them diagnose what your TL's problem is. But if I had to guess, I'd say it is the idle control valve.
