Default Coil-Overs

Does anybody know where I can get coil-overs for a 96 RL? Since my tires rup on the rear. I have 225/40/18" ATA Italia rim on it, and having seen RL's with 19" or even 20" I don't see how they do it. Can it be that the offset of the tire is to wide?

I'm running 245/35/19" with a +42 offset(i think) of the rim. For the rear of my 97, I had to have the rear fenders rolled. My '99 seems to be ok though. I think it might be your tire size. Not sure though.

I have 235/40/18" on my 96 RL and they don't rub. I have also had 245/35/19" on my RL as well, no rubbing. I have not had to cut anything and I have also dropped the car, I don't know what my offset is or was, but I bet that is your problem, I don't think its the tire width. Hope this helps, perhaps you should do like EKY and roll the fenders, mine may have been before I bought the car.

Thanks guys for the advise but what does it mean to "roll the fenders. How about coil-overs? Do you know of any manufacture that makes them for an RL.
