Request: Modifying s-type tails
Ive got some s-type tails for my 94 accord and i think they would look better if both of the circles lit up when braking instead of just one. You guys know what im talking about right? Right now just the inside ones light up when you put on your lights and brake, and the outside ones just blink for turn signals. Is there anyway to get the outside ones to come on with your lights and/or brakes too?

get a 5 post relay.
t-tap the brake (or parking) light wire and run it to post 85
cut the blinker wire and connect the power side to post 86
run a constant power source to post 30
attach the wire that goes to the bulb to post 87
I did this to my tail lights so that what used to be the brake light also acts as the blinker.

that's interesting. I don't understand how it would lite up though. What happens if you break and turn at the same time. How would it light? educate me. I heard people using the dual filiment light and light holder. that way you just tap them. That way you have one that goes on with your parking light, and it gets brighter when you turn. That makes more sense. Thanks

with the method I described above, when the brakes come on, it'll light up, when the signal is recived for the blinker, it will turn off. So it still blinks. It's a lot like domestic cars.
I'd post pics, but I think it would be more confusing if you saw my wiring job.
