There was no Integra Type S.
So I suspect you're dealing with a 2001 Acura TL Type-S. We have a dedicated forum for the CL, TL and Vigor. I'm moving your post there now.

Pep Boys says they can do it, but not for free. They charge $100. I may have to resort to that but havn't given up yet. anyway, thanks for the tip.
