Are you sure it's no spark? I thought I had that problem one time and turned out to be the fuel module thing under the dash on the driver side that was faulty after I went through all the above steps you mentioned.. I can't remember how to test them I'll look through my printouts I'm sure it can be found online if I can't find my copies.
Just a thought dunno. One other thing..I also had iffy starts till I replaced those stock wires even if it's just oem replacement those older wires are crap after a while IMO but if it's no spark from the get go before wires..

i test for spark after the wires, out of the distributor, and directly from the ignition coil. no spark at all. i'm pretty sure its not a fuel problem, after cranking i can smell fuel out the tail pipe. trying to find a PM6 ECU but its not easy to find. might be looking in all the wrong places.

If I remember right, the pr4 was used in an integra with a bseries (http://hondaswap.com/reference-mater...cu-list-29129/) so I'd say that would be a problem.. yeah pm6 is a pain to find.. I ended up going zc and wanted to do pm6 or pg7 and went for the pg7 based on the performance side.. I know the guy has another one if a pg7 would work.
Don't ya love those weird hour replies? I do.. then again I've spent the last few hours looking for a valve spring retainer... damn baggy had a hole in it.. Hope that helps some and if a pg7 would work I can hook ya up with someone that has it and I vouch for him.

Well in my case I"m using a pg7 which is from an integra, the pm6 is from the si, both work for the engine I'm using which is the zc. I'm not sure if a pg7 can work for a regular crx si engine I'll check around but I'm sure there are more knowledgeable people on this then I am, I switched over from gas hog domestics nothin newer then 91 so I'm still getting used to ecu swapping.
My question is, why would a bseries ecu be put in a si that has the stock si dseries engine.

I had my buddy test the pr4 ecu in his 89 crx with the stock d16a6, started right up. Traced the wire harness once more, and found a ground connection coming from the wiring harness corroded, clean connection, car fired right up........ Thanks for the help.

You wouldnt be getting fuel if the main relay is bad
To check for spark Clean your battery terminals and ground cables to the motor and transmission, then recheck connections to distributor with multi meter and service manual, then replace the entire distributor and I would get the right ecu, what the hell is that integra ecu doing in your civic without a swap anyway? i think its kinda starnge that no one has stated the obvious here. i think it is far more likely that, if the car ran before, and you've repalced all of the part you have, it is likely that the harness became damaged. i would check the resistance across all of the wires to the distributor from the ECU. if its not the the ECU itself, then it would have to be the harness its the only other part of the system. check the wires and fuses before you throw parts at an electrical issue. you'll save alot of money.
