Default Honda Accord 98-02: CLS rear sway bar

Note: This is the installation of the Acura CL Type-S rear sway on the Accord Coupe; however, the TL Type-S rear sway will fit the Sedan. So for sedan owners, replace the letters CL with TL when you see them -98

You will need:
-1-2 hours
-8/16 socket \ 14mm socket and an ajustable rench
-5mm allen key
-a Cheater bar
-can of WD40
-3 pairs Rubber Gloves (will rip)
- Jack and Jack Stands
Go to the ACURA dealer and ask for a CLS rear sway bar with bushing. You can reuse the bolts.

some tools you'll need

Here is a picture of the stock rear sway bar (top pix) and the CLS sway bar (buttom pix) the little baggies are the busing

Okay once you get your tools and parts ready
Jack up the rear and use your jack stands.
Get your can of WD 40 and spray the sway bar bolts let is set for 5 mins. Below is a picture of the nut and bolt. Use the tools listed on the picture.

you may bend your allen key because its hella rusty down there.

This is where the cheater bar comes in handy

Continue on both side

Now for the Bushing I think its the 14mm socket you will use to remove the bushing it will come off just use the cheater bar if it doesnt ehhehe

Bushing removed should look like this

Now you are able to remove the rear sway bar. Just revese the steps to install the CLS rear sway bar.

Is that fine if I use car ramp instead of jack stand for removing and installing the rear sway bar?

there's no difference since it doesn't matter if the suspension is loaded or not.
