Buying advice on '96 GSR
Hey guys and gals,
I'm looking at a 96 GSR with 110K miles. It's in pretty good shape. The only things that need to be done are:
- change the timing belt (water pump, etc)
- replace some axle boots (~$350)
- couple of other things for maybe $200
How much would you buy this car for?
Thanks!

i would have the checked out very well considering the timing belt should have been changed at 90,000 miles and it hasn't been changed yet. Other maintance may not have been done on the car as well.

i would say a good price on that would be around 7500 - 8000 depending on how good of shape the car is in. you might be able to talk them down to 7 since the timing belt and all that work costs about 1000 or so. but i def wouldn't go higher then 8.

Thanks for all the advice, folks. I bought the car yesterday. $7000. Now after I do the timing belt, I think I'll do the brakes, get a rollcage/bar, and some harnesses. Gonna be fun!
