possible water damage - damaged computer - how to? where? anyone pls
I had my car parked by the curb side during the recent tornado/ heavy raining. the water came in the car in the feet area. and then drained out. the car refused to start - then in another try - it started and after several minutes turned off. i tried again after few hrs - still the same thing . battery is good. car is honda accord 2002 VP 4 cylinder base model. someone told me it could be the computer . another one told me to try changing the engine oil and transmission oil.
any one has better ideas what to do. and if i need a new computer, from where can i get get it inexpensive. how about installation - is it diy thing/ do i need a programmer to program it or its not required. anyone selling computer pls let me know thx salman

Wet Honda Accords...
Yup, same thing happened to me about 6 months ago...
Pull battery terminals off, whip computer/s from under carpet in passenger side footwell, take lids off.
Drown those puppies in CRC/WD40, quick blast with Contact Cleaner or similar, let 'em sit in the sun for a few hours, then reassemble, refit etc., etc.
Mine went 1st turn of the key.
Hope your's does too.
Cheers.
