Default Tires

This may have been asked before, but I need input on what tire to get. I plan on moving up to 18's next month on my RL and currently researching tires. I am looking for something quite with decent treadwear. I know the Paradas Spec 2's are nice(previously owned a set of 17's), but I am wanted to recommendations on other tires or those that are running 18's now.

I have had both 19's and 18's on my RL. After having the car for two years, I have had experience with many brands of tires. The one and only tire I now use are Falken ZIEX's, they last the longest with the most uniform treadwear and they look great. I have 235/40/18's on my RL now, they sit just right with little gap in the wheel well.

I had some Parada spec 2's and was thinking about going with them again. But I have also been looking at the Firestone SZ50 EP or the Yokohama EVS 100's. I want something that has a strong side wall, decent treadwear and reasonably quiet.

I just ordered some Falken ZIEX 512's. I have heard good things about these tires. They are high performance, all season. Great in the rain, look good.

I got the Yokohama EVS 100's and they are loud as can be..They also pull if you get in a rut on the road. I am thinking about the Continetal Extreme Contacts or maybe the Falkens next.
