Default steering problems

right behind the drive axles , what seems to look like a cv boot is ripped . i think its hooked on to the steering wheel , when i move the steering wheel left or right , makes a scratchy lound sound , like metal to metal . got any clues on what it is ?

You're cv joints (inside the boots) are at the end of your drive axles.

That is your steering, mine is ripped too. Last I checked it's expensive to fix the whole thing. I think you can change the boot though (similar to your CV-joint)

i just checked it just now after i talked to someone the knew about kind of , he said check you p/s fluid , if its low then it might be leaking thru the sealant in the steering thing. i check and its almost all out, but i checked if the cv boot thingy wa very watery but its was just a lil greasy and dirty and black .

Sounds like you need to replace the CV boot. Relatively cheap part.
