Are those expensive headlight bulbs worth it?
Those costly headlight bulbs like Sylvania superstars or whatever. Do they actually give more light output or are they just for looks? I'm not talking about a 9005/9006 conversion or whatever. And would just changing the bulbs need the headlights be aimed any different?

if you're not doing an OEM bulb replacement, you should ALWAYS have the bulbs realigned. just like when you mess with the suspension on a car, you should always have the tires aligned.
glad you're being considerate of oncoming traffic by asking about realignment.
BTW, um from dat souf cakalak! (summerville/charleston)

Expensive bulbs are not worth it. I've always bought the cheapest pair I could find on ebay. Although I think I liked the color of my old eurolites more than my DOT approved philips
