that kit is made for a built motor. if you push 200+ extra horsepower to your motor it will blow sky high. it will take about 20 lbs to make 200 extra hp. that kit doesnt make any sense to me because most people that have a built motor will have a custom kit made. if you wanna run boost youre better off getting an FMAX or DRAG kit and starting at 6 or 8 lbs. i ran mine at 6 lbs for about 5 months. then wanted more speed to i turned it up to 10 lbs AND WENT TO THE DYNO BEFORE TURNING IT UP. i wouldnt run any more than 10 lbs on a stock motor. and if you run 20 lbs youre going to need some sort of tranny work

What would i need to do to run about 20lbs of boost? Should i get a better tranny? I think Level10 and some other company makes some stuff for the accord. I just need to know what i need to do before i take 5g's out of my wallet:naughty:

Thanks,
Tom

it will cost you that $5,000 for the turbo kit plus about another $4,000-6,000 on other stuff to run 20 lbs. you'll need to build the block, tranny upgrade maybe, standalone, a lot of tuning, 3" exhaust, race cat or gutted cat, not sure if the axles would hold up, radiator, fan. if you really wanna spend the money on building the block let me know and i'll list all the parts out for it. most people dont wanna spend $3,000-4,000 to just build the block but its needed to run 20 lbs

yeap ... just like 98AccordEX said. if you're running on stock internals, i wouldn't put more than 5 or 6 lbs of boost on an auto tranny ... especially the accord's.
