Unknown cable. with pics... Do you know what it's for?

Hi!
I bought a Honda Civic 1.5 LS VTEC, and when I looked into the hood I found a cable loose.. Just wondering if anybody here know what it's for (I sure know that it is a negative cable, but what is it for?)
[The cable-connection I mean is in the red circle on the pics]

Also my turnsignal-lights don't blink when i open or close the doors with my IR-remote... Anyone that might have a clue why?

Thnx in advance!

(Sorry for my poor english, I'm from sweden so that's why... )

But for what? It's just cut-off. Where did it go from the beginning?

I don't think that's a stock wire. Some one most likely added that for something. Disconnect it and don't worry about it.

Not sure on the turn signals though.

Doh! mkay..

Anyone got something for a list or something of how to fix SRS-failures? I tried to reset my SRS-lamp but it wont go away, so that's why I'm wondering..

if you want to make sure its not a factory ground then really all you have to do is find about 2 more grounds and compare three bolts keeping the wires in...

so if you have 3 grounds and 2 have a bolt that look like "X" and the last bolt looks like "O" then you figured out that the "O" is not a factory ground...

(why would a manufacture use all different bolts for gorunds)

I did... That bolt was as the other factory bolts... Is'nt there anyone with a Honda Civic like mine who can check that?
