Default 5th gen lx wagon power window

Sorry about these ridiculous posts but I tried researching and they realydidn't help with my issue. FYi- I'm just getting my car 100% working order prior to investing in it,besides essentials.
Anywho, I was wondering if you don't have a power window switch for a rear driver's side window should it still work with the masterswitch from driver's side? If it should & doesn't could I just replace the PW switch and call it good, or is there more to it? Thank you

Pretty sure the switch on the rear door itself isn't required to complete the circuit. I don't think at least. If you wanted, you could just switch over the one from the passenger side to check. If might not fit or look right in the door, but the electrical connections will work.

both the switch at the window and the master switch has to be present for the window to work..
