Default Shift Points?

I have 93 Si and i was jus curious if any one knew the right shift points....i read somethin about it on one of the gas posts and was curious..thanks

3000-3500 RPM if you still have the D16Z6.

For best gas mileage? well, how low can you go? try 2000rpm but with a Civic, you're going nowhere FAST :chuckles:

it would be the same for as for me so here it: 1-2=15mph, 2-3=27mph, 3-4=39mph, 4-5=53mph

that is for optimal mileage through acceleration... go 5-6mph before all those for cruising shift..

You should listen to your car too. Revving too high and car will wind out (after 4500rpms). Shifting to low (2000rpms) and you will bog and use more gas.
