I think it's snapped/glued in. Gently pry at it with a flat head. Purchasing a Hayens isn't a bad idea neither.....Helms is even better.

Yea, I had problems taking that sucker off too, I still need to pick up a better repair manual, someone said there's screws BEHIND that cluster... well, I took out my dimmer, and I felt a screw there, kind of tough to get to it, I'm sure someone could shed some light on this.

I just broke mine...your dash doesnt make you go faster...when you paint the parts from the dash make sure you use good quality paint and a clear coat otherwise it'll look like **** after awhile.

you might have to pull your radio out to get to those bulbs.

im 99% sure you have to take the dash off becasue there are screws behind there, that is for sure. I would like to get mine outm just to paint black sine it is te only grey thing in the car, but it only comes out with the dash i think, so that was a bit or work.

I can't help with the dash part but I can help with taking out the climate control. BTW, I PM'd you. You must take the radio out first before taking out the climate control. Remove the lower console part, the one with the coin pocket and lighter, or audio console whatever you have. Then take the radio out. You have to get way under the dash and you'll see all the screws I was talking about in my first post. Search for topics created by me you'll find it. Theres 3 screws on each side of the climate control....underneath. There 2 that are directly in the middle, underneath.
