Need advice on whether tires will fit rims
Will a 235/40R18 tire fit an 18x8 wheel? The tires are currently on wheels which I think are 18x8.5. I'm getting new wheels and want to know if these tires will fit/look right or if I need to buy 225/40R18 tires. These are the wheels I'm getting for my Silver 03 Accord coupe:

Go on tirerack.com & find the tire. Under SPECS they have allowable rim width for each size of the tire. If they don't sell the tire, find one that's sorta the same class or same level of performance. Then make sure you find the SAME SIZE. The allowable rim width probably doesn't change much with different tires in the same size.
