HELP!!!! How to stop Shimmeying?!?!?
Well its the first snow of the year in the northeast so i decided it was time to take the kit and rims off the car. well i did that and i put my stock steelies back on. I didnt change the coilovers height at all. but now my car shimmeys like a MOFO and i cant stand it. Changing wheels should do nothin to an alignment should it?? I dont know what to do but i dont like driving it. HELP!!! How can i fix this? Could it be the wheels not on all the way?? they seem tight but IDK

What the hell is Shimmeying? Are you saying it shakes sort of when you drive?
Try using a torque wrench when you put on the wheel and do 80ft-lbs for each lug.

i went from a 17 inch tantrum to the 14 inch steelie. when i had the car aligned i had the 17's on will that make a difference? the wheels/tires are like the exact same overall diameter
