Is the lower Fuel Filter bolt reverse threaded?
I was trying to do something simple, change my fuel filter. I have done this times before on different vehicles, yet on my civic the lower part of the fuel filter is on tight as ****. I got the top banjo bolt off, no problem but the lower on is on too tight. Is there some kinda trick or did someone simply tighten it WAY too much? I know lame question, BTW my turbo is on and even though I still have the stock clutch, flywheel, no boost controller or BOV it runs very strong.

I used an open end wrench and tried pretty hard but not as hard as I could because it seemed as if it should come off easier than that. I didn't want to damage anything. I'll try again and use a bit more umpfff:thumbup:

Yah, it's usually on there pretty good. Also, when you go to tighten it back up, it'll get to a point where you think it's tight, but if you turn the key, you'll hear a bunch of fuel leaking fromt hat point. I had to retighten mine like 3 times when I changed my filter.

Still here... sorta...
Makes it so much easier too if you remove your rear seat, unplug your fuel pump and then start your car and let it run until it dies. That way, you don't have any fuel in your lines so you don't spray fuel everywhere when you remove the lines. FYI.
