Default 2000 GSR Susp. Question!

So I recently installed some Skunk2 lowering Springs on my buddy's GSR. Took my time and got it done in about 6hours.

1 lil problem now, Hes tires keep popping.

Even before the drop he hit a pot hole and hes tires popped. Some thought it was the cause of a bent wheel. Nope checked it out and its fine. Since we dropped it the tire has popped an additional 2 times.

Hes sitting on 205-40-17's, I thought it would be a good Idea to maybe up it to 45's, then I started thinking that it might have something to do with hes camber, or control arms.....

At the moment he says its rubbing against something, and wants to roll hes fenders for $300, which I think is crazy!

Whats the problem guys? Cause Im tired of thinking about it :a:

p.s - it was a 2" drop!

Where is the failure happening?
Are the tires blowing out from the side?

What's the offset on the 17" rims...?

Not a camber issue, and certanly has nothing to do with the control arms unless they are bent to hell and causing something to rub.

You can roll the fenders with a baseball batt if that's where they are rubbing.

Which wheel is giving you the trouble, and where is the tire popping? On the sidewall?

I got the issue taken care off. All it needed was a tire rotation and balancing They had some negative camber which was fixed and now the car seems to drive fine and no pop yet,

:yay:
