1989 Legend
Hi everyone:
Has anyone actually replaced the timing belt on this year legend? I understand that it is the same engine as the Honda accord 1995 v6 but I have never seen any write up on it or any manual that details its timing belt replacement. Many people have suggested using an impact wrench to loosen the crank pulley. This is near impossible without dropping the engine. Do I have to drop the engine to replace a timing belt? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

89 Acura Legend
The way to replace the timing belt on 1989 Acura Legend is to jack up the right front wheel and take it off. Then remove rubber plug on inner fender in front of cranshaft pulley. Then put socket and extension to impact wrench. This will take off cranshaft pulley bolt so you can remove the cover. This is how i did mine. rob327k
