It could be a lot of things, but if I have to guess, I would say it is the fuel delivery that is failing....possibly the fuel pump. But really, if it does not generate an engine trouble code, you better have a decent mechanic to do some diagnostic for you as it could be several things.

I suspected the same thing untill I noticed the key light t functioning properly. I have read that the PGMFI main relay could cause the fuel delivery to fail, but would it also cause the imobilyzer to not work?
I have taken it to the dealer. They wanted to play the parts swaping game. I think that I have enough clues for a good mechanic to solve it. After days of searching the Net I have found a couple other owners with the same issue, but there are no posts with a remedy. Thank you for your time. Mike |

I am not sure about the immobolizer malfunctioning, it could be the cause but you won't know until you play the swap game.
