KYB vs. Monroe Sensa-Trac
i have a 93 vigor and i am looking into getting all new struts installed on the vig..now i have read a lot of posts on the KYB but when i look at the specs for the KYB they seem to me as a bit more for like performance because you can adjust them and all...i am simply looking for whatever has best comfort..i read about the monroes and they are said to be real good for comfort and stability..that sounds what i am looking for but i just wanted to get the opinion of others..which one would you reccomend..thanks..

I know I had adjustable KYB's on my honda accord and I loved em. If you want a soft and smooth ride you can get it...if you want a stiffer ride you can have it. It leaves you options thats all.

To confirm this, you will need to either have someone with knowledge about this or find a parts catalog and see if the shocks for both of those cars have the same parts number.

Suscribed. I'm real interested in this info, as I lowered my Vigor almost 2 inches and would like to install struts that can be made adjustable. Can anyone confirm if the 94 Accord KYB struts fit the Acura Vigors? I know the springs are a match.
If not, can someone advise the strut model #s for the Munroes? Hate to go that direction, but my car needs struts!

i have a acura vigor 1993 lowered 2 inches on suspension technique springs and i have kyb agx shocks from a 1990-1997 honda accord and had no problem having a mechanic install them on my car. i know the back is a direct fit and in the front the nut for the bolt to go on in on the opposite side and needs to be cut off and reversed. any mechanic should know what to do. i love the combination of shocks and springs and the car rides like stock but handles amazing. make sure to get a camber kit and dont use the ingalls ball joint if you lower past 1.5 since you will hit the fender and that is why i am running -1 degree in camber to clear it, no wear on my tires i just rotate every oilchange.
