I didn't much care for them after the 1st gens. I remember when the 1st gens first came out in late 1989... it was a pretty sharp looking car for it's time. The interior/dash was cool too. I always liked the Eagle Talon version better, though... even into the 2nd gen. Friend of mine had a 93 Plymouth Laser (same as 1st gen Eclipse/Talon) and it was nice to drive and ride in, but that car started falling apart at only 4 years old. It's ashame they couldn't have been better made.
