People who want to kill others will find a way to get a gun legally/illegally. Might as well let people protect themselves. Im not sure if it would have saved any lives in this particular situation but more stringent gun laws will not prevent anything.

It would benefit me if the laws were relaxed, but honestly if the laws stayed as they currently are and more people were encouraged to get a CCW I think it would have an overall effect on crime.

although i would say theres no way to say if carrying would actually lower the death toll, tougher gun control laws would have done nothing to stop something like this from happening.
