2000 accord lx wont start!!!!!
My girlfriends 2000 accord wont start. This was formerly my car before I got my 2003 accord coupe.
It never had any problems while I had it the year and a half that I did. It is VERY cold here in the northeast...but not to sure thats whats going on here.
I went to turn it over and all it does is make rapid clicking noises and all the dash lights flicker with the clicking.
It wont trurn over at all just goes straight to the rapid clicking.
It has 93000 miles on it and is VERY well maintained.
Any help on this would be great and very appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

battery? cold + old battery = death.
try flicking on the headlights.
If the headlights turn on, it might be a frozen fuel line, busted starter, bad sparkplug ... :dunno:

sounds like a dead battery. I'm in michigan, and that just happened to my gf's car. Plus, I have a 2000 lx and when my battery died, it did the same "clicking" and "flashing". I'ts good to get a new batt every 5 years; more often if you live in a cold climate.

If you here a clicking sound when you start the car. The problem is definitely the battery. Change it or recharge it, using a jumper cable will help to. After the car started the battery will recharge itself.
