Default someone recommend me spring rates!

looking into a gc/koni yellow setup for my b18c1 swapped ex. what are the OTS rates btw? primary purpose for the car is spirited street driving, drag racing every few weeks, and maybe i'll try an hdpe just to get my feet wet. a stiff ride doesnt bother me as long as im not chipping teeth h: . currently riding on neuspeed springs and stock shocks ftl.

so do you think the OTS rates will be enough or go with custom rates? also are their billet upper mounts worth it for what i want to do?

i hit a bump and go bouncing down the street for the next 100 or so feet h:

plus if i were to get pulled over i'd get a fix-it ticket as the headlights are lower than the minimum 22"

I have some tokico blues and ground control coilover sleeves, nice ride. I can use it for daily driving and it's pretty stiff.

When I go over bumps, all you hear and feel coming from the back is "DUND-DUNNT" lol Horrible.
I like the way the car sits, but I don't want stiff struts. I want the OEM feel because I need a good place to start. Stiff suspension will drive my lady crazy. I don't want that. :run:

If your car keeps bouncing that means that your shocks are completely blown. Probably as a result of having the wrong shock/spring combo.

I just put a Tokico Blue/Tein S-Tech setup on my B16 swaped Del Sol and it rides like a brand new car. I would recommend springs over sleeves anyday.

i prefer the adjustability of gc's. and for the combo price you cant go wrong with it.

OTS rates differ. You'll see some places offer "special edition" GCs, others normal. IIRC, special edition are softer.

I want to say they're somewhere around 300F / 250R.

I'd go for 450fr/500-550r. Shouldnt be too bad daily driven. I run 770fr and 580r and dont notice it too bad.
