Default I Need Help With My New Wiper Motor???

My wiper motor when I bought the car a month ago was stuttering and not centering or when you turned them off they would not come back down that’s called centering. So I replaced the motor with a used one from online but when I tried it I got nothing. So I went to a junk yard and got one still the same thing. And that's where I stand now???

Can anyone help me or tell me why this happened????

PS: I did check my fuses there fine! And the car is a 1998 Honda Civic EX

Lets see if you have 12v at the green wire with a black stripe at you wiper motor. It will only have 12v with the key on.We will start ther.

Ok so I tested the green and black wire. I conected the ground to the battery and conected the + to the conecter. First I had the wiper switch on and the key on I got 12 volts. Then I tried turning the wiper switch off and the key on still got 12 volts.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

What are all the steps if you could send them to me via e-mail "quickcivicbj@yahoo.com that would be great, as a word document attchment would be even better thanks

Good thing. No step we just play it by ear.The blue wire with the white stripe pin 5.Jump it to ground(use a safty pin and a jump wire prob the back of the connector) and see if the motor high and low will work.

Just to fill you in the first test was to see if you had 12v to the motor. The second test is to get around a bad park switch.

Now i want you to jump the blue wire with the yellow stripe to ground along with the blue wire with the white stripe like last time. This should bypass the wiper switch and the control unit puting the motor into high.

If it doesn't work try the same thing with you first motor. If no motor will work you have 3 bad motors.IF any motor will work we will keep diaging(the motor would not be the problem).
