cause i can get the engine for a 1000 less than an h22, and i can get everything i need for the f22 (which will turn over the the h22 swap, mounts axles) run it for a while as i get my chassi stiffened up and brakes upgraded and then get an h22 or h22 type-s and dropped it staight in no problem. all i have is about 1800 to spend and i can get what i need to put it in with that

and i need a car cause i got a thrown rod in my sol right now.....rip the d15

im curius as to why your so hell bent on the H22. For the effort it takes, the swap isnt that great. If your just trying to put the car back on the road untill you can afford the swap, why not put the cheapest thing possible in there so you will be able to get the h22 that much faster? Just swap in another a d15 for 300 bucks and deal with that untill you can get the funds together for the h22. Any money spent on the f22 will be wasted as it will NOT be an easy resale when your done with it

save for an h22, i had one in a coupe and was killing srt 4s and it wasnt the type s and i didnt have lsd, z28 not a problem either. But anyway why spend money on f22 to be back to $0.00 and have to save a few thousand AGAIN when youre already almost there for the h22a right now. thats the supidest thing ive heard

actually, there's nothing wrong with the f22, depending on what year it came out of. the ex's from 94-97 got vtec along with a good amount of hp and ft/lbs

everything would go in like an h22, mounts and all. they can even share transmissions.

I would rather have an f22 than a b16 or d16. I might even take the f22 over a b20, and I know I'd take a b20 before a b16.

Do the F23 block with the F22 head, I helped a guy at work do that in an accord. I dont really see to much of a prob with that motor. I would just save for the H22, or an H23 with the H22 head.

well right now i been arguing with my parents about the engine, cause they are helping me get it for a christmas present, and i think i'm stuck getting a d15 again IF i am lucky a d16 or b16,

does anyone know if all the parts off a d15 will fit on a d16? dist., alt., water pump, ext? cause if it does i might be able to get that. i'm just gettin the engine and swapping the stuff off mine to the new one.

and a b16 what is the cheapest mount route?
