Default Purge cutoff solenoid

I broke the plastic fitting that attaches to the purge cutoff solenoid. The hose that attaches to this fitting attaches to the charcoal canister. Can I just use RTV sealant to fix this?

See item 16 below. The hose (item 26) broke off.

I have used super glue too just don't clog the purge. If it will not work get a new purge(or junk yard 2$).
