need help with wheel studs

Default need help with wheel studs

does anyone know how to get the wheel studs out of a 98 civic coupe and put the new ones that i have in. i already have the studs and i have the rotor off but i need to know how to get the hub off. any help greatly appreciated. thanks

i think you have to remove the wheel bearing to get the studs out

You might be able to sneak it by.Usually you have to remove the hub and you would need a pres for that.

I've taken wheel studs out before by smacking them out with a hammer. But that was on the rear. You'll probably screw up your alignment doing it on the front.

i think they need to be pressed out....i just took it to the gas station at the corner...was like $12

im better sure you just bang them out with a hammer on the side which sticks out....thats howi took mine out...no damge at all but see i have a 92 civic...i dont no if that helped.
