An Introduction of Sorts (Track Days)
Hi All:
Not sure if anyone out here does track days, but I thought I'd drop in to introduce MVP Track Time to fellow car nuts who get thier speed fix on road courses. Please stop by for a visit at www.MVPTrackTime.com. All are welcome!
Happy Motoring!

I maybe interested in attending the Joliet event (never been to that track as it's very new) and I grew up near there. But this looks expensive as ($245 for oen day). You can run NASA HPDEs for $245 for 2 day events - Racers for less. Midwest Nasa Region has events at most tracks.
So what do you offer?
Btw...I live in Kansas City and do about 10 events a year.

You can only rent the full 3.56 mile road course on Mondays, and then just limited Mondays. It's not cheap to rent the full course. We also offer a catered lunch, plenty of track time and no over regualtion.
I guess the investment for a track day is subjective, but we are nearly 1/2 full for the June 4, 2007Autobahn event. Hope you'll join us at the track!

Can I run my race car (or does it have to be a road licensed car)? Is there going to be a "fun race" - lot's of tracks do that for last session of the day for those who are in the racing class.

If the race car is a production based car (no open wheel cars), you can probably run it. I'm assuming it's the car in the photo of your posts.
There is no "free" run at days end because the final group will end at 5:00PM when the track shuts down for the day.
