Default 95 Civic EX sunroof

Finally got a chance to take a look at the 95 EX that I will swap motors in and put my daughter back on the road (Will give a date so's you can clear the highways) .

So I take it the sunroof doesnt open at all? My daughter is about to blow a fuse, tell me it aint so?

And if not, do they make a unit for the honda that will open?....Jack

Can you hear the motor engage? Mine used to stick everynow and then. If the motor sounds like it's trying, give it a little shove to help it along while pressing the motor.

But of course, check the fuse under the dash first

I couldnt find a switch to open it, if it actually is suppose to open. I looked on ebay and around the net and couldnt find specific info on the 95 ex sunroof, I did find that the switch is next to the cruise and dimmer switch on ebay. I believe I checked that while looking at the car and did not see a sunroof switch.

So I guess my actual question is "do they all open or are some not suppose to open"...Thx Jack

Is your daughter's car an EX? My 92 has the switch on the left of the wheel. If you don't have one of these, it may not be stock.
