Gettin high on Octane
they say the higher the compression the higher the octane. stock motors good for pump gas. but wut about high compression. If i want to run 13:1 compression, wut octane do i run and how do i get my 93pump gas to get to there? do u think 14:1 darton sleeves is too high?

Ha, sleeves don't dictate what compression you run, your valves and your pistons do.
13:1 you will need 93 Octane for sure, but u might also have to add some 110 or 105 octane to it. You might as well be smart and just go 11.5:1 or 12:1 that's as high as I would go. There really isn't any other point in going higher unless it is an ALL out race car with a built engine. Just my .02 Cents though.
You better hope you have a REAL GOOD tune too!
