16 or 17s for silver 00 civic
Ok, first of all, very sorry I have crappy pictures in the rain with my car dirty, I couldn't find my "showcar" pics i took this summer..
Here is my Civic as it is now
It has a green Honda banner and a small H on the back window. I know some people hate banners, but if anyone has suggestions on how to compliment the banners, please let me know. I've already installed green cold cathodes under the dash, and am planning on painting the calipers a subtle green color.
I'm looking at buying either 16s or 17s, under $700 a set. I was thinking 17's, but i don't exactly want my car to look like some crazy gangster ride, and I think it *might* look better with 16s if i lowered it.
I'm really open to anything, so post pictures of rims or civics with rims you like, or tell me about these.
these konigs look kind of nice, but are a little bit flashy
konigs i'm seriously thinking about
stylish momo wheels
there are more i've been looking at, but those are a few that stuck out.
if you think of any other mods to go with my banner, and keep the car clean, please let me know! thanks:cheers:

really depends on how low you wanna drop your car..thats what i say...i have 16's on my 00 civic si and i wont lie id rather have 17's but the smaller the wheel the less mass the drive train has to turn and less the brakes have to stop...i say 17's though...no bigger if your going the perf. route

i wouldnt put anything over a 16 on that car. 17 will look gawdy, and they are too big for a civic. 16 will look good with a little drop plus your not going to lose near as much handling.

I have 16s on my 99 civic but I still have to lower it also...should be getting ground control coilovers w/ some illuminas soon.
I think the 2nd Konigs look best out of that choice. I'm going to be getting some ROTA SubZero's or some others I don't know the name.

i have 17s on my 98 ex and i cant stand them there heavy and the ride is horrible. But they do look nice But when lowered properly they look awesome. if i could go back i would prolly get 16s.. Now i want the si rims tho so..
