Default stiff stuff

what is a good spring and shock combo for a lsvtec 250whp all motor. i dont care how low it is because i dont plan on an outrageous body kit. I just know the stiffer the better especially for a 250 whp motor, u need stiffer shit to keep that horsepower on the ground. if spring shock combo and good enough, then maybe coilovers? budget is 1000. give me your opinion on both.

omnipower race coilovers. if you really want to keep the power on the ground, look into traction bars, stiffer motor mounts and sticky tires as well.

what setup are you running making 250whp NA?

This is 1 of the 1st mistakes a lot of ppl make about suspension. I learned this the hard way with my del slow... I put ground control coil-overs with KYB AGX shocks... spring rate 700f, 750r... BIG MISTAKE... the way to maximize ur power transfer is to KEEP THE WHEELS IN CONTACT WITH THE ROAD, like the others have said, get some good coil-overs... good not stiff, 300-400f, 400-500r if ur doin drag, and some traction bars, and urethane motor mount inserts...
