Default i've got a pool in my trunk.......

it seems like theres a leak somewhere on my 99 cpe
after heavy rain fall, the trunk floor would be dripping wet but the worst is in the spare tire well. i had about an inch of water inside. i had my car painted a few years ago but they didnt remove the rear window or anything. any idea where this water might be seeping in from
thanks in advance

Replace the weather stripping around the trunk itself. That's where I would start...

i called a local honda shop around here and they stated thats the last thing that would malfunction.... i kinda believe him since there shop has been around for 15 years...
anyways. if i do, should i buy OEM or will a regular auto shop weather stripping suffice?

so, pour water down the roof of your car down to the trunk with it open and see where it's dripping from...

I had the same problem with my 97. Try this... right beside the weatherstripping youll notice a little raised edge where the metal overlaps. mine had peeled up somehow and was leaking through. silicone down the crack fixed it for me, hopefully that might help?
