Default What can I improve on m my vtec???

Hi i have a honda civic vtec coupe dhoc, its an amazing car but...
I've placed a simota air filter , think that the car comes with branch from the manufacturer. the car is making 17 seconds on 400 meters, and im loosing lots of races on the start. what can i improve???

your english would be a good place to start :chuckles:
keep it slow, you make it any faster your gonna kill your self trying to "win races"

Huh? He's not American, that's why his english is "bad", give him a break.
Didn't u see his unit of measurement is METRIC. :chuckles:

Well,if your street racing thats a :nono: ,but,if you're drag racing,on the track,you might want to practice your launch,if you have a b16,you might want to launch from 3 to 4000 rpm,they have a terrible low end torque,help me,I have a Civic Si with a cold air intake and I ran a 15.7,so,good luck and practice.

First and foremost, if you have a B16 in there you need to improve your driving skills. I ran a 16.2 at the track in my non-vtec integra, so you can definately break 16s with ease when you learn how to drive.
