Default 1994 Civic AXEL to transaxel

Just replaced a lower ball joint, That when it popped it pulled the avel from the trans, when replacing I did not know if anything goes back into the transaxel with the axel. Reason I ask is there was a bearing the was on the floor covered in grease like it came from the trans/axle joint, but I am unsure where it goies to. It does not fit over the axle, and there was not a spot that it fit snuggly into the transaxel. Bearing is about 1'1/2. Flat one side on other there is a slight ridge that borders the center hole. In center there is a ring that is movable 360 degrees. My thoughts is it could be a spacer, but that is only a guess.

it's very unlikley that anything came out of the axle hole on the tranny. The only thing that i could imagine you saying you found would be the circle clip that is probably still attached to the end of the axle that was in the tranny.

To be totaly honest with you, i can't think of one bearing that is in your tranny that is even small enough to fit out the axle hole.

once you get some pix posted, i'll be able to give you a better explaination, i'm gonna go back out to the garage & finish some body work, i'll check back later.
