Yes, it'll just look quite stupid. Now this is an off the top of my head guestimation, based off of seeing all the 240's driving around with too small tires in the rear. I've done no math to verify this.

will there be any performance probs or will it look stupid. I have a set of 215/35 from my old 18s but they r cracking(cheap adr). and i have a good deal on 2 18x7.5 and 2 18x8

18x8" will rub bad. I had 18x7" wheels on my Civic and those rubbed pretty bad. Can't imagine another inch wider. But yeah your car will be slower, ride rougher, and probably corner slower since the extra weight of those 18" tires and wheels.
