solo nats - day 1 STS and STS2

its been a busy day down here. Our boys Craig and Jason got bounced from STS for a couple of technicalities, and the hondas are getting trounced in STS2.

I knew going in I was way off, but Andy Canak is really impressing, and Roy is hot on the heels at 4th. Andy Hollis is putting on quite a strong show, which everyone expected.

Tomorrow is another day. Wish you were here!

Jason Roades from cali. And he won! My local friend Jimmy was codriving and trophied as well. Rumour has it there is over 18k in R&R into that car.

and btw, I told you Canak would win sts2 and my buddies girl megan young won sts2L!

Here's how to lose your ass at nationals. This is probably some of the best driving I've done to date:

East course, 3rd run.
http://beatracing.com/blake/videos/s...s/CLIP0003.ASF

West Course, 1st run +1 (best time, but dirty)
http://beatracing.com/blake/videos/s...s/CLIP0005.ASF

Thanks to DataToys.com for loaning me the video equipment. Very simple installation and since it is solid state and prints right to SD Ram cards it allowed us to review our runs on laptops in between runs.

I watch statistics for my finishes very carefully as compared with the top finishers each day and solo nats was my best work yet. This is a tough crowd!

boy man i really donno much about them. I know Craig and Jason would have been in front of them and that hurt my ass all weekend. Rhoades drove well but that trophy isn't really his IMO.

why wasn't it his? because craig and jason edged out rhoades with an illegal car? it's humorous to read that you don't know him, but he doesn't deserve it..
