Default si ecu in an ex?

what will happen if i put an si ecu in a 97 auto. civic?
can i put an integra ecu in my car? im looking for a little more power
my friend put a maxima ecu in a sentra and i drove it.. unbelievable
is it safe>?

Why would you want to? :thinking:

You won't gain anything from doing it other than CELs :dunno:

I'm not saying you can't, there isn't a point though considering that you have an auto, and a non-b series engine.

what do you mean by CELs, never heard that term before

It will be hard to put a 99-00 si ecu in your 97 ex, because 96-98 are obd2a and 99-00 are obd2b.
