out driving my suspesion
So I'm at the track this weekend and I take a retired mechanical engineer for ride. He said I was out driving the car, that the suspension could not keep up with me. After I heard that I started to notice that the suspension was bottoming out in the corners. My set up right now is: eibach pro-kit lowering springs, Tokico Illumina Shocks, ITR rear sway bar and a 1” front sway bar. I’m looking for a stiffer spring but could use some help.

lucky, thats gotta be a blast to do. I think if you want a serius suspension your gonna have to step it up to full coil overs. I was looking into the omni power full coil overs for my sol. Now im getting the H&R coil overs for the RSX

Just because a car is leaning doesn't mean it's not cornering right. Anything willl lean even Speed Touring cars with their 1000-1500 ft/lbs springs lean. Realize this the stiff you make your car the less streetable it becomes (well I guess if you have a good chiroprator).
How do you know if you were bottoming out? Did you feel the car bouncing up and down? If you didn't you are fine. Maybe get some Toyo RA1s

Right now I have a set of victor racers. Just with the tires my lap-time dropped about 8sec. There were a few corners where I felt the car bounce then a solid hit. I'm sure I was on 3 wheels at that point. I'm trying to upload a vid on you tube so you guys can see what I'm talking about.
