HOW TO: 96-98 hatch/coupe power window conversion/intstall
First off if youre afraid of tools or doing things the right way then you need not continue. This is a fairly big undertaking.
You WILL need::
96-2000 power window regulators
96-98 drivers and passengers door harnesses from EX coupe
96-98 floor harness from an EX coupe
96-2000 window switches
96-2000 EX interior door panels (or modify your stock ones somehow)
power window realy (honda part number Ill update later)
3 20amp fuses
and lastly an ass load of patience. A helping hand will make things go a little quicker. By myself and fairly good at this kind of stuff still took about 7 to 8 hours of my sunday. Also lots of parts and panels will be removed so have room.
This is a 100% oem install so no expence (time or money) was spared on this install. Does this mean you have to do your install this way? No.. but this is how Honda would do it... The right way.
Without further adue

I just posted asking about this very subject. Awesome DIY!!! Exactly what I was looking for.
But MAN is that gonna be alot of work. I'd better start planning for the down-time now.

You are DA MANNNNN... ive been trying to find this for the longest. Only question though i have a red hatch exactly like yours, DX, but i just got the SI coupe doors, that has power everythign in them INTACT. would they fit on my HATCH? thanks. I mean im not the smartest inclined person but with the least stuff to do is the fastest, just take off old doors mount on new ones, run the floor harness wires, plug in relay viola DONE! lol but first i need to know if they fit or not.
