Default a question about a sensor

well i bought a 2k civic si tranny it already had the sensor on there but its out. can i use any b series speed sensor? i need to know preety fast so i can tell my homie to get it

go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and get the part number for him out there. That way you're sure you have the right part.

but its a si tranny into a eg si hatch all i see is the one that look like its for a d16z6

Who cares what it's into? It's a speed sensor for a '99-'00 Civic Si. Get the part number for that car and you're set.

will its fit the obd1 harness cuz i dont think it would bewcause the si's are obd2

If you have an Si tranny in your car right now with (obviously) an Si speed spensor and you replace it with an Si speed sensor, do you think it will work? It obviously plugs in now so why would a new one not? Think about what you're asking...
