keep the stock engine and turbo it. thats the only way you'll get 250+whp.

well i was thinking of it but most of the teg's ive been looking at have 150k miles on it and i dont think thats good to put a turbo on such used engine that has that many miles. so wouldnt it be better if i got jdm motor that has 50k and less miles on then a 150k+ or does it not matter.

first, you never know how many actual miles are on a jdm or any used motor. the place you buy it from will advertise certain miles, but there's no way to be sure.

once you do buy a teg, do leakdown and compression tests on the engine. if those come out good, boost away. or do a rebuild and have a fresh engine.

imo, of course. replace all the seals, bearings, and gaskets, and you have a practically new engine. with a used engine, you have no idea how good those things are until you actually get the engine. then you may have to do a rebuild anyways. do it right and save yourself a little money and just rebuild whatever engine is stock.
