Default Can someone tell me what's wrong with my tranny

I have a 99 Accord EX V6 V-tech

When my car isn't warmed up it gives me hell going through first and second gear. More first. It's like it wants to shift at 3k rpms but revs to liek 4 or 5k. I'd say it's slipping? I'm praying I dont have to go out and purchase a new transmision. I'm thinking it may be simple because of the fact that there are NO problems after my car is warmed up. I'm scared to flush b/c I heard rumours that flushing just destroys some peoples transmissions.

Whoa how long did it take you to hardwire the phone into your car?

And uh buy a new tranny. Yours is done.

have you ever opened the hood?... says v-tec right there

how many miles do you have. your tranny is slipping, and eventually, you wont be able to change gears. You can try doing a drain and fill (never flush!), but that may or may not make a difference.

how many miles on your car? Have you checked honda's owner link to see if perhaps your tranny is part of the recall?

Some people don't have the same attention to detail that the lot of us on here seem to have. They pop the hood. They see a motor. They close the hood.
